This policy explains how Ambysto Technologies LLC ("Ambysto", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit ambysto.com or use our products, Distraction Foundry and DigiSkill.

1. Information we collect

• Account and contact details: name, email address, company name, phone number and billing address.
• Payment information: payments are processed by our payment provider. We receive limited details such as the card brand, last four digits and expiry date, but we do not store full card numbers.
• Content you provide: brand materials, ideas, files, posts, course content and messages you upload or create in a Service.
• Member data (DigiSkill): if you run a community, we process your members' names, emails, profile details and activity on your behalf.
• Usage data: device and browser type, IP address, pages visited and actions taken, collected through logs and cookies.

2. How we use information

• To provide, operate and support the Services you subscribe to.
• To process payments, send invoices and manage subscriptions.
• To communicate with you about your account, service updates and support requests.
• To secure our systems and prevent fraud and abuse.
• To understand how the Services are used and improve them.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We send marketing emails only where permitted, and every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.

3. AI processing

Some features use third-party AI providers to generate or analyze content. We use providers whose terms do not permit them to train their models on customer data sent through their business APIs, and we send only the information needed for the task.

4. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:

• service providers that help us run the Services, such as hosting, payment processing, email delivery, analytics and AI providers, under contracts that limit their use of the data;
• social platforms you connect, when you ask us to publish content to them;
• authorities, where required by law or to protect rights and safety;
• a buyer or successor, if our business is involved in a merger or acquisition, subject to this policy.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and secure, and analytics cookies to understand site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

6. Data retention

We keep personal information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. After an account closes, we delete or anonymize it within 90 days, except where we must keep records longer for legal, tax or accounting reasons.

7. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and activity logging to protect data. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach affecting your data as required by law.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.

Members of a community hosted on DigiSkill should contact the community owner first, as the owner controls that member data. We will help the owner respond.

9. International transfers

Ambysto is based in the United States and our providers may process data in other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

10. Children

Our Services are not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

11. Changes

We may update this policy and will post the new version on this page. For material changes, we will notify active customers by email.
